This is a check list of items we suggest you take along.
Remember the baggage limit on Air Seychelles is 20kg
Certified Birth Certificate for boys
Signed Indemnity Form
Certified Affidavit from BOTH parents
Certified copies of IDs for BOTH parents
School uniform “Number Ones”, including at least two shirts, shoes and blazer
School sports kit
Light jacket or windbreaker
A set of warm clothing, including jacket, if not for Seychelles at least for Johannesburg
Good walking shoes/trainers
Crocs or sandals suitable for walking on coral
Wallet for pocket money (but remember all meals are catered for)
Two towels, one for showering, one for swimming
Sunblock (min factor 50)
Any creams and after-sun cream, as required
Cameras and chargers
Small backpack for day trips
Plastic bag to carry dirty clothing
Entertainment for bus journey (try books instead of/in addition to iPod!)
- PLEASE, WHILE MAKING SURE YOUR SON HAS EVERYTHING HE NEEDS TRY TO PACK LIGHT AS THERE WILL BE A LOT OF TRAVELING FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER INVOLVED.
- IN ADDITION, PLEASE ENSURE YOUR SON IS NOT CARRYING ANYTHING THAT MAY BE DEEMED DANGEROUS – SUCH AS A POCKET KNIFE.
- AND REMEMBER THAT ANY LIQUID 100ML OR MORE MUST BE PACKED IN THE LUGGUAGE FOR THE HOLD AND NOT CARRIED ON BOARD IN CARRY-ON LUGGUAGE.
- IF YOUR SON IS ON ANY SPECIAL MEDICATION OR HAS A MEDICAL CONDITION, PLEAS ENSURE YOU HAVE INFORMED THE TEACHERS AND, IF NECESSARY, HANDED OVER THE MEDICATION WITH INSTRUCTIONS.
